Dinner for Galleria Continua

For guests, the dinner was not only a celebration of contemporary art but also an immersion in Aliée’s philosophy of quiet elegance. Each detail, from the table setting to the curated flow of the evening, was crafted to mirror the artworks themselves: layered, intentional, and alive with meaning.

On September 15, Aliée Istanbul welcomed artists, curators, and collectors to an intimate dinner in collaboration with Galleria Continua, celebrating the opening of the art season. Held within Aliée’s glass-roofed Courtyard, the evening honored Pascale Marthine Tayou and Arcangelo Sassolino, whose works Tornado and Condition of Desire anchor this season’s cultural program across Aliée and Tersane Istanbul.

The dinner reflected Aliée’s philosophy of blending hospitality with cultural production. Guests dined surrounded by installations that transform our spaces into living galleries, while conversations unfolded on art, memory, and the spirit of Istanbul. As dishes and dialogue intertwined, the night became both a celebration of creativity and a quiet ritual of connection, true to Aliée’s belief that art lives not only on walls but also at the tables where we gather.
